Job summary

GE Aerospace in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Military Maintenance and Sustainment Strategy Manager to lead IPS-driven maintenance concepts for next-generation programs, interfacing with airframe integrators and DoW customers to align sustainment with mission needs.

You will guide maintenance and sustainment planning, develop life cycle documents, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective support for advanced propulsion systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate with additional 8 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with U.S. military organizations, DoW IPS elements and sustainment processes.
• Familiarity with turbine engine systems and related logistics for military engines.
• 8 years of experience related to the role responsibilities.
• 6 years of military or DoW related industry experience.
• 4 years of propulsion system maintenance, sustainment, or logistics experience.
• Full-time on-site work at GE Aerospace HQ in Cincinnati, OH with limited remote options.
• Ability to travel to customer sites (approx. 10%).
• Must have or qualify for a U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
• This role is restricted to U.S. persons by export-controlled status.

Responsibilities

• Assume significant role within Integrated Product Support (IPS) team
• Partner with airframe integrator and DoW customers to identify maintenance requirements
• Lead Sustainment development including maintenance practices and servicing requirements
• Author plans and manuals such as IPS Management Plans and Life Cycle Plans
• Establish and activate organizational and depot maintenance capabilities
• Participate in Reliability Centered Maintenance and Level of Repair Analysis
• Forecast and manage spare parts requirements
• Contribute to life cycle cost models and trade studies
• Contribute to design/engineering of support equipment and manuals
• Collaborate with maintainability, reliability, safety and human factors engineers
• Interface with systems and design engineering to support capability development
• Lead daily/weekly/monthly progress using FLIGHT DECK principles to hit milestones
