Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) seeks a Supply Technician Lead at Fort Carson, CO to serve as SME for daily Army equipment turn-ins. You will ensure adherence to AR regulations, maintain accurate records in Army logistics systems, and guide documentation and inspections throughout the process.

Responsibilities include processing turn-ins, verifying paperwork, updating GCSS-Army/DPAS/LMP, and coordinating with Army personnel to ensure timely completion while maintaining safety and compliance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant work experience accepted.
• 3–5 years of logistics, warehousing or supply experience preferred.
• Familiar with Army turn-in, supply or property accountability operations.
• Knowledge of Army regulations AR 710-2, AR 735-5 and DA PAM 710-2-1.
• Experience with Army logistics systems GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP.
• Ability to interpret supply documentation (DA/DD forms) and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Process equipment and materiel turn-ins from Army units per ARs and DA guidance.
• Verify turn-in documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct visual inspections and assign correct condition codes.
• Tag unserviceable and excess items and maintain records in logistics systems.
• Enter data into GCSS-Army, DPAS, and LMP; assist in reconciliation and adjustments.
• Lead in daily operations, coordinate with QA, supervisors, and transport.
• Ensure compliance with safety, HAZMAT handling, and storage requirements.
