The University of Iowa is seeking a full-time Supply Chain Technician II on 2nd shift at the North Liberty Campus. The role involves leading a team, managing bi-weekly inventory orders, and ensuring stocked essential items for efficient instrument and tray management.

Key duties include trouble-shooting instrument issues, updating backup locations, and supporting staff on the assembly floor to uphold quality standards and workflow efficiency. On-campus schedule applies.

Competenze

• Two years of work experience in supply management, warehousing, or distribution settings or an equivalent combination with post high school education.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and ability to meet fleet safety standards.
• Experience in sterile processing environment (Special Qualification).

• Provide leadership and supervision to assigned staff and assist with training.
• Oversee daily medical-surgical supply chain operations for supply technicians.
• Manage inventory, monitor par levels, and coordinate ordering and audits.
• Utilize electronic supply chain management systems to resolve inventory discrepancies and optimize tracking.
• Coordinate with nurses and healthcare professionals to anticipate urgent needs and maintain patient care.
• Support tray assembly, instrument tracking, and space management on campus.
