The University of Iowa in Iowa City is seeking a Supply Chain Technician I to support dispensing of medical-surgical supplies and patient care equipment across the medical center. This full-time, on-campus role operates Friday through Tuesday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, and uses electronic supply chain management systems to coordinate procurement and delivery.

Under supervision, you will maintain par levels, assist clinical staff, track charges, and ensure accurate inventory and reporting.

Qualifications

• One year of work-related experience in supply management, receiving, warehousing and distribution.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards.

Responsabilités

• Dispense medical-surgical supplies and patient care equipment with urgency and accuracy.
• Review and order inventory to maintain established par levels.
• Transmit orders to vendors and track delivery timelines.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory transactions in the electronic system.
• Ensure proper patient charging and cross-reference items as needed.
• Generate and interpret reports to monitor usage and discrepancies.
