ARaymond Network in Rochester Hills, Michigan, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier qualification, APQP/PPAP activities, and corrective action management to ensure quality, delivery, and launch success.

You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers, conduct VDA 6.3 audits, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement across automotive and energy supplier networks to reduce risk and defects.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, quality, or related field.
• 3–5 years of supplier quality or automotive manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949:2016, ISO 9001, automotive requirements.
• Experience with APQP/PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans.
• Experience leading supplier corrective actions, RCA, containment, and permanent actions.
• VDA 6.3 Auditor Certification preferred.
• Auditing of stamping, plating, heat treatment, and coating supplier processes mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, qualify, and develop suppliers to meet requirements.
• Lead APQP activities from feasibility to launch and drive improvement plans.
• Review and approve PPAP or related quality documentation.
• Conduct supplier audits using VDA 6.3 process assessments.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics to master.
• Lead containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for nonconformances.
• Support engineering changes and transfers to control quality risks.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve issues.
• Report supplier performance and quality trends.
• Support launching and serial production with suppliers.
