Job summary

Michael Page US is seeking a Superintendent for mission critical construction projects in the Columbus area. You will lead on-site operations, coordinate owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors, and drive schedules to ensure timely delivery of labor, materials, and equipment.

This role emphasizes proactive safety, quality control, and effective budget oversight. You will mentor teams, manage field operations, and collaborate with leadership to execute complex projects with excellence.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading large-scale construction projects, with 5+ years as a superintendent on mission critical projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performing teams and drive project execution in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of construction operations, scheduling, safety, quality control, and lifecycle best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills for collaboration with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.

  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with contract documents, project specifications, and quality standards.
  • Support project financials through budget oversight, progress tracking, invoicing, and review of payment applications.
  • Collaborate with the project team to implement design changes, lead meetings, maintain clear communication, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Take on additional leadership responsibilities as needed to ensure project success.

Job Description

  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders, project schedules, budgets, and field operations on large, technically challenging projects
