Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet MVR standards.
• Ability to travel for extended periods.
• Thorough understanding of ASCE 38 guidelines and quality levels.
• 4–5 years of SUE field experience preferred.
• Experience leading SUE QL-A & QL-B field crews.
• Project-level field supervisor experience on SUE QL-A & QL-B preferred.
• Survey experience preferred.
• Military experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designate utilities in rural and urban environments using geophysical equipment and field survey.
• Maintain safety certifications.
• Lead SUE QL-A & QL-B mapping projects with small crews.
• Apply non-standard surface-geophysical methods to designate complex utilities for 2DB/3DB mapping.
• Collect data for vault diagrams and 3DB mapping projects.
• Lead crews operating vacuum excavators for test holes under various conditions.
• Operate total station, RTK GPR, and levels for data collection.
• Gather horizontal and vertical data for mapping and prepare technical reports.
• Coordinate with clients, utility owners, property owners in the field.
