Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 7 years of direct project engineering experience managing design efforts for Design-only and EPC projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to develop and manage workplans, schedules, and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multi-discipline engineering design teams for substation projects.
• Oversee design efforts to optimize safety, schedule, and profitability.
• Manage and mentor team members across disciplines.
• Implement Quality Program for engineering designs and budgets.
• Prepare and manage labor-hour budgets and client change orders.
• Coordinate with project controls for schedule, budgets, and progress.
• Direct subcontracted design efforts and field services.
• Present designs to clients, permitting authorities, and vendors.
