Job summary

Booth & Associates seeks a lead electrical engineer to supervise a 5-person team in General/Physical Layout and Protection & Control for substations. You will seal designs, coordinate with clients, and drive business development. Reports to the Divisional Manager and ensures quality across project documents.

The role focuses on supervising engineers and CAD designers, maintaining safety standards, and delivering comprehensive substation design packages for multiple projects.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering required; Eight+ years of applicable experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
• Experience supervising engineers and CAD designers on substation design projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of engineers and CAD designers (about 5) in General/Physical Layout and Protection & Control packages.
• Seal engineering work for the majority of the team's outputs.
• Manage customer relations and business development with select clients.
