Job summary

Booth & Associates is seeking a lead engineer to direct a small team of engineers and CAD designers in general layout and protection&control packages for substation design projects. The candidate will seal work and manage customer relations, with involvement in business development for select clients.

The position emphasizes supervision, coordination, and effective communication across all levels, reporting to the Divisional Manager.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Eight plus years of applicable experience required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead small team of engineers and CAD designers (approx 5) in General/Physical Layout and Protection & Control packages for substation design projects.
• Seal engineering work and manage customer relations and business development with select clients.
• Supervise and schedule work of engineers, designers, and CAD operators on assigned team.
• Interface with customers to manage existing projects and future plans.
