Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman Electrician or Journeyman Lineman.
• Valid CDL or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and safety practices.
• Willing to serve as sub-foreman or foreman as needed.
• Get Into Energy certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand audible signals and communicate to maintain safety on site.
• Troubleshoot service issues related to substation systems and install/maintain equipment.
• Perform rubber gloving to work safely with low-voltage lines.
• Erect steel to replace or increase substation structures.
• Install or repair transformers, breakers, regulators and other substation devices.
• Oversee documentation for project planning and completion.
