Job summary

Proserv in Houston, TX is seeking a Mechanical Proposals Engineer to develop high-quality technical and commercial quotations in response to ITT/RFQ requests.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, Procurement and Legal teams to ensure competitive, compliant proposals and to minimize risk across the bid lifecycle. Prior bid experience and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification in mechanical, controls or energy subject.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent discipline from an accredited college/university preferred.
• Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Interpret ITT and RFQ to define scope, deliverables and strategy.
• Lead the preparation of technical and commercial proposals in accordance with Proserv’s policies and procedures.
• Coordinate input from Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain to compile accurate cost estimates and schedules.
• Develop detailed proposal schedules, timelines and outlines; manage the tender submission lifecycle.
• Attend bid clarification meetings, domestically and internationally, as required.
