Job summary

Life Cycle Engineering is seeking an On-Site Submarine Sail System Representative to inspect, train, and evaluate failures of submarine sail HM&E systems. You will work with fleet maintenance teams and navy personnel across CONUS and OCONUS locations, supporting submarines in several classes and sail-related components.

The role requires leadership experience, five years in DoD or related HM&E maintenance, and a DoD Secret clearance. Travel and onsite support across multiple U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• At least five years of military, DoD, or related experience in Submarine HM&E systems maintenance.
• Experience leading Maintenance Activities, Shipyards, or other government contracted maintenance agencies.
• Two of the five years should include experience in inspection, repair, maintenance, troubleshooting and installation of Sail and/or Towed Antenna systems onboard U.S. Navy submarines.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and oversight of submarine sail HM&E systems at the On-Site location.
• Update technical databases with issues and provide repair recommendations to facilities.
• Review and validate technical documentation and system configurations.
• Provide liaison support during sail zone installations and represent TYCOM/Squadron on technical issues.
• Other duties as business needs dictate.
