Job summary

Life Cycle Engineering is seeking an On-Site Submarine Sail System Representative to inspect, train, and evaluate HM&E submarine sail systems and related towed antennas on U.S. Navy submarines.

The role involves working across CONUS and overseas locations to support maintenance teams and shipyards. Responsibilities include inspections, documenting issues, providing repair guidance, and coordinating with fleet personnel.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Minimum five years in DoD/submarine HM&E maintenance.
• Five years leadership with maintenance activities.
• Two of five years in inspection, repair, maintenance, troubleshooting and installation of Sail and/or Towed Antenna systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and oversight of sail HM&E systems.
• Update technical databases and provide repair recommendations.
• Review and validate system configurations.
• Provide liaison support during sail zone installations.
• Represent the local TYCOM/Squadron on technical issues.
