Life Cycle Engineering is seeking an On-Site Submarine Sail System Representative to inspect, train, and evaluate failures of HM&E submarine sail systems across CONUS and overseas locations.
You will guide inspections, installations, repairs, and maintenance for SSN/SSBN/SSGN classes, coordinate with fleet and shipyards, update technical documentation, and represent the TYCOM on technical issues while supporting mission readiness.
The On-Site Submarine Sail System Representative will be responsible for inspecting, training, and evaluating failures of submarine Sail Systems. They will also provide operational and technical maintenance support to regional support groups, fleet maintenance teams, and naval shipyard personnel. The representative will provide guidance on the inspection, installation, repair, and maintenance of Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&E) Submarine Sail Systems and SSBN Towed Antenna systems for SSN, SSBN, SSGN Class Submarines. This includes both SUBSAFE and non-SUBSAFE level items, with tasks assigned both within the continental U.S. (CONUS) and overseas (OCONUS) to support the operational Submarine Force. These contingent positions (pending contract award) are based in various locations: Norfolk, VA; Kings Bay, GA; Groton, CT; Portsmouth, NH; San Diego, CA; Bangor, WA; and Santa Rita, Guam.
