Job summary

ManpowerGroup, on behalf of its defense/aerospace client, seeks a Lead Subcontracts Specialist to join the Mechanical Assembly Government Sourcing team in Phoenix, AZ.

The role leads end-to-end FAR15 proposals and subcontracts, negotiates with suppliers, and mentors team members while shaping supplier strategies for best value.

Hybrid work is available after 90 days on assignment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, L&C, Business, or Finance.
• US Citizen/US Person due to contractual requirements.
• Subcontracting experience with FAR15.
• Strong negotiation skills and processes.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end cycle of FAR15 proposals and subcontracts.
• Execute FAR15 subcontracts in accordance with FAR, DFARS, and applicable regulations.
• Build strong negotiation positions for contract execution and negotiate with suppliers.
• Manage key program suppliers and develop supplier strategies to deliver best overall value.
• Mentor and train team members while leading a commodity within the team.

Our client, a defense and aerospace organization, is seeking a Lead Subcontracts Specialist to join their team. As a Lead Subcontracts Specialist, you will be part of the Mechanical Assembly Government Sourcing department supporting key Honeywell programs. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and strong negotiation skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $67.00 - $76.00/hour
