Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Structures Estimator in Mesa, AZ to lead estimation for bridge and heavy-structure projects within a dynamic team. The role focuses on Design-Build, CMAR, CMGC, and other delivery methods, guiding bids from concept to bid day and mentoring junior staff.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in construction estimating, with a degree in CM or CE preferred, and a track record delivering accurate, competitive estimates across complex portfolios.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction estimation, focused on heavy structures and bridge projects.
• Experience with alternative delivery methods.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in CM, CE, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structures estimation process for a diverse portfolio of complex projects.
• Utilize Design-Build, CMAR, CMGC, hard bid, and Progressive Design Build methodologies to deliver estimates.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
• Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for materials, labor, equipment, and schedules.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and architects to navigate design and construction challenges.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
• Mentor junior estimators and contribute to their development.
