Job summary

Feyen Zylstra in Kalamazoo, MI is seeking a Lead Structured Cabling (Technology Infrastructure) Technician. You will supervise installations, troubleshoot issues, and provide onsite leadership to field technicians in commercial and industrial settings.

Safety, quality, and customer service drive our work. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in communications, knowledge of cabling standards (BICSI, ANSI, EIA/TIA), and the ability to travel regionally to project sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the communications industry is required.
• Advanced knowledge of telecommunications, data, AV and network cabling.
• Proficient at reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Ability to informally lead others, including directing work and coaching for improvement.
• Demonstrated focus on safety, quality, customer service and goal attainment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise cabling installations in commercial and industrial settings.
• Troubleshoot system issues and perform maintenance.
• Provide onsite leadership and support to technicians.
• Coordinate tasks and track progress on project sites.
• Ensure safety, quality and customer satisfaction on site.
