Job summary

Tutor Perini Corporation is seeking a Structural Superintendent for the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) project. You will oversee elevated guideway structures, coordinate scheduling and subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time performance on a multi-billion rail project.

Required are 15+ years in construction, 10+ years as a superintendent on heavy civil projects, and experience with large-scale contracts.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction experience.
• 10+ years of experience as a superintendent on heavy civil projects.
• Experience as a superintendent on projects valued over $500M.
• Knowledge of U.S. construction methods, techniques and standards.
• Experience with City, State, and/or Federal government clients preferred.
• Knowledge of contract management and local trade/unions/craft.
• Proficient in MS Word/Excel, Procure, Bluebeam, HCSS Heavy Bid or similar software.
• OSHA 500 certification, CPR & First Aid Certifications.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction on elevated guideway structures, ensuring safety, design adherence, budget and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, subcontractor coordination).
• Ensure craft workers and subcontractors comply with contract requirements, materials/equipment use, site safety, and timely schedule performance.
• Provide technical assistance: interpretation of drawings and recommendations on construction methods/equipment.
• Assist management in developing project schedule, site logistics, and procedures.
• Support Site Specific Safety Plan.
• Coordinate with on-site Owner employees.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
