Job summary

MSA Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer – Structural to lead planning and design of municipal and infrastructure building structures, from concept through construction. The role emphasizes mentorship, collaboration, and delivering constructible solutions.

With a Florida PE or SE license, you will guide projects including municipal buildings, water facilities, waterfronts, parks, and tanks, while balancing schedule and budget in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited program
• PE or SE licensure required (FL or multi-state may be required)
• Minimum 4 years of post-graduate structural engineering experience
• Experience designing structural systems for buildings/infrastructure preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design for municipal, water/wastewater, waterfront, parks, tanks, and related projects
• Perform and review structural calculations for multiple materials
• Develop construction documents and technical reports
• Coordinate with architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical teams
• Provide construction-phase support including site visits and RFIs
• Mentor junior staff and support delivery of projects
