Pratt & Whitney is seeking a senior structural engineering manager to lead a team handling analyses, planning, and collaboration across programs. You will guide product development, ensure compliance with AS9100/CORE, and mentor engineers to build technical excellence.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination within a global aerospace environment. Hybrid work and travel up to 10% are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 8+ years of engineering experience or 5+ years with an advanced degree.
• U.S. citizenship or eligible to access program materials.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of structural engineers, including resource allocation, task assignment, and performance oversight.
• Develop technical plans and manpower strategies aligned with program requirements and milestones.
• Provide structural guidance for product development, changes, and production issues.
• Review and approve structural analyses and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with structures managers to support AS9100/CORE initiatives.
• Lead employee development through coaching and individual development plans.
