Job summary

Stantec in the United States is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for water-related facilities, dams, and treatment plants. You will manage projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant and efficient structures.

Experience with Revit/AutoCAD, and structural software such as STAAD, RAM, SAP2000, or RISA is expected. The role requires in-person work and strong client interaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
Professional Engineer license required.
Master's degree preferred; experience with hydropower facilities is a plus.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for water-related facilities and buildings.
Lead project teams and coordinate with subconsultants and clients.
Prepare calculations, drawings, and specifications per codes and standards.
Mentor junior engineers and EITs and contribute to proposals and cost estimates.
Review shop drawings and field observations; provide engineering solutions.
