Oregonite is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in California to lead the design and analysis of critical water infrastructure projects. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with codes and client requirements.

Roles include design calculations, construction documents, and field support. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of civil/structural experience, a California SE license, and proven project management experience on water resources projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of civil/structural engineering experience required.
• California SE License required.
• Experience leading water resources and hydraulic structures projects.
• Public-sector project management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Serve as technical lead on multidisciplinary projects.
• Develop structural calculations, specs, and construction documents.
• Perform condition assessments and evaluations of existing facilities.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineers to deliver integrated designs.
• Review and seal engineering deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Participate in client meetings and workshops.
• Provide construction-phase services including RFIs and site visits.
• Support business development and proposal activities.
