Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Portland, Oregon seeks a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer – Structural. Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in water resource-related projects, including fish passage and hydropower. Responsibilities include advanced structural design, project management, and mentorship of staff. A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is required, along with PE and SE certifications. The compensation package includes a salary range of $114,000 - $187,000 based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer, with project management experience preferred.
• PE & SE required; California PE and NCEES registration strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with water resource infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select and apply advanced structural design techniques.
• Develop FEA models and conduct analysis, presenting results to clients.
• Manage projects including establishing deliverables and communication plans.
