Job summary

Fehr Graham is seeking a Structural Engineer to join our East Peoria team. You’ll design steel and concrete structures, lead design efforts, and collaborate with engineers and environmental scientists to deliver projects on time.

This full-time, in-office role offers a competitive salary of $100,000 to $130,000 per year, plus benefits such as insurance, 401(k) and PTO. Ideal candidates have 7–11 years’ experience and licensure in IA, IL, or WI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 7–11 years of experience designing steel and concrete structures.
• Licensed Structural Engineer in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin or ability to obtain licensure.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials and code requirements.
• Ability to develop design and construction plans.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide structural engineering and design services for a variety of projects.
• Actively develop and grow the structural engineering team.
• Provide technical leadership on multidisciplinary projects and support client relationships.
• Develop project scopes, budgets and structural designs while delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
