Job summary

Conrad Consulting in Indianapolis is seeking a hands-on Structural Engineer to own projects from design through completion, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and engaging directly with clients.

The ideal candidate will lead design of steel structures, perform analyses per IBC/ASCE/AISC, mentor junior staff, and manage schedules and budgets while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• PE license required.
• 4+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience managing structural engineering projects.
• Strong background in structural steel and connection design.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural projects from initial design through project closeout.
• Design structural steel connections, building structures, foundations, stairs, and rails.
• Perform structural analysis and calculations in compliance with IBC, ASCE, and AISC standards.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, fabricators, and internal teams.
• Review drawings, calculations, and technical deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and client relationships.
