Job summary

Amazon in Springdale, OH seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to design and coordinate structural systems supporting conveyors, platforms, mezzanines, and industrial facilities. You will develop calculations, prepare permit documents, and ensure code-compliant, constructible solutions across nationwide facilities.

Role requires 5+ years in structural engineering, proficiency with AutoCAD/Revit/Bluebeam, and a PE license.

Qualifications

5+ years of structural engineering experience.
Experience with structural analysis and design of steel structures and connections.
Knowledge of IBC, ASCE 7, AISC 360, and AWS D1.1 standards.
Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam and MS Office Suite.
PE license in at least one US state.

Responsibilities

Develop structural calculations and design documentation for material handling supports, platforms, mezzanines and connections.
Coordinate with engineers, fabricators, installers and stakeholders to ensure code-compliant, safe, and scalable solutions.
Design and evaluate bracing systems and connections, including seismic and retrofit conditions.
Create and review load paths from equipment to foundations and BIM models.
Support BIM coordination, permit documents, and structural permit drawings.
Review shop drawings, calculations, and submittals from vendors and contractors.
