Job summary
Miller-Remick LLC, a full-service MEP engineering firm in the United States, is seeking an experienced Lead Structural Engineer to direct complex projects from concept through construction. You will interface with clients, coordinate multi-discipline teams, and ensure quality design and documentation.
The role requires a PE/SE license, 10+ years in relevant structural work, and proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Structural/Civil/Architectural Engineering required; Master's preferred.
- Professional Engineer license or Structural Engineer certification required.
- 10+ years of experience in new construction, renovations, or additions.
Responsibilities
- Lead full execution of projects from concept to bid documents and construction administration.
- Manage structural design across multiple projects and direct designers.
- Lead design and review as Lead Engineer on assigned projects.
- Ensure technical quality of engineering tasks.
- Develop project-specific technical reports, calculations, drawings, and specs.
- Coordinate with other disciplines and communicate with clients as lead structural engineer.
- Perform field surveys and site visits, document field reports, review RFI responses and change orders.
