Job summary

Premier Resources Group (PRG) seeks an experienced Lead Structural Engineer in Gainesville, GA for food and beverage design-build projects. You will lead structural design from concept through construction documentation, serving as Engineer of Record and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, develop practical structural solutions, and ensure designs meet codes, budgets, and schedules. This is an on-site role with direct client and coordination responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5–15 years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience serving as Engineer of Record for in-house structural design.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage structural engineering design for Food & Beverage design-build projects.
• Serve as Engineer of Record for in-house structural design services.
• Oversee development of drawings and specifications; ensure constructability and code compliance.
• Coordinate with architecture, process, refrigeration and other disciplines to integrate structural solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and draftspeople; provide technical guidance.
• Ensure schedule alignment and deliverables across project milestones.
