A leading engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join their water resources practice. Responsibilities include structural analysis and design of dams and water resources structures, mentoring junior engineers, and overseeing project management tasks. The role requires 7-15 years of related experience and a B.S. in Civil Engineering. The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 - $160,000 annually, with a hybrid work schedule and strong focus on employee development.

Qualifications

• 7 to 15+ years’ experience in structural engineering related to dams and water resources structures.
• Professional Engineer licensure or the ability to obtain it within one year of hire.
• Experience in analysis and design of hydraulic structures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as structural lead or project/task manager.
• Analyze and design concrete and hydraulic structures.
• Complete detailed design calculations and prepare contract documents.

Skills

Structural analysis software (SAP2000/STAAD/RISA/ANSYS)

AutoCAD

Excellent verbal and written communications

Ability to work in the field under inclement weather

Mentorship and management of engineers

Education

B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited program

M.S. in Structural Engineering
