Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a Technical Specialist in Pasadena, TX, to lead a team of designers and deliver civil/structural drawings on time and within budget. You will supervise design deliverables, coordinate with engineers, and mentor junior staff while ensuring compliance with codes and project standards.

This role requires extensive 15+ years of relevant experience and strong 3-D capabilities.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of civil/structural drafting or design experience.
• Strong knowledge of AISC/ACI standards and detailing.
• Ability to lead design teams and coordinate across disciplines.
• Experience estimating tasks, costs, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise designers to deliver civil/structural drawings on time and within budget.
• Review and coordinate drawings with engineering disciplines and vendors.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure compliance with codes and company standards.
• Prepare man-hour estimates and support project cost control.
• Coordinate field support and on-site verification during startup.
