Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. is seeking a full-time Structural Project Engineer for our New England presence. This role is based in our Wilmington, MA, or Boston, MA, Portsmouth, NH, or Portland, ME offices.

The position offers a hybrid work format with exposure to a wide range of bridges and structures across the region. You will lead structural design efforts, mentor junior staff, engage with clients, and help drive project delivery across multiple agencies including DOTs and municipalities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural focus.
• PE licensure required in MA/NH/ME.
• 5–15+ years of experience in structural/bridge engineering.
• Experience with state DOTs, transportation agencies, and New England municipalities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute all aspects of bridge design and rehabilitation projects.
• Coordinate work of junior engineers and assist with project delivery.
• Establish and maintain client relations and communications.
• Assist with proposal development, contracts, and design meetings.
• Participate in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance.
• Lead design development sessions with multi-discipline staff.
• Coordinate workload to ensure on-time deliverables and manage budgets.
