Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks a Sr Structural Analyst in Seattle to lead the analysis and development of structural subsystems for New Glenn, their heavy-lift launch vehicle. This position involves hands-on responsibilities for structural analysis throughout the design, testing, and integration processes.

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. degree in engineering and over 15 years of relevant experience in aerospace. Key qualifications include strong skills in analysis software such as Ansys and Nastran, essential for ensuring safe and reliable spaceflight.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15+ years of experience with aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures.
• Strong understanding of composite and metallic design fundamentals.
• Experience with design life-cycle from concept through integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis, development, testing, and qualification of structural subsystems.
• Perform FEM analyses and complete hand calculations.
• Prepare technical content and present it to internal and external stakeholders.
