Job Objective:

Supports management with product sales and acquisition, store maintenance and appearance, customer development and retention, and banking and record-keeping procedures.

Essential Functions:

1. Cash Handling and Register Operations: Proficiently uses the cash register and assists others with basic troubleshooting. Implements store opening and closing procedures. Supports banking and reporting, including cash handling, bank deposits, and reporting sales and product acquisition.
2. Sales and Product Management: Implements strategies to meet sales goals. Maintains product rotation, communicates with the warehouse for orders, and reports sales and production data.
3. Store Maintenance and Appearance: Supports store upkeep, safety, and display updates. Looks for ways to improve the store’s appearance and customer appeal.
4. Customer Service: Provides positive customer experiences, handles complaints, and communicates store operations and concerns with management.
5. Resource Protection: Implements procedures to prevent theft and spoilage, and controls waste of property, utilities, and supplies.
6. Other Duties: Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
