Job summary

Bosselman Pump & Pantry in Nebraska seeks a 1st Assistant Manager to oversee the total operation of the location, including all licensed programs and business units. In the absence of the General Manager, you will execute the listed responsibilities and lead daily operations.

The role requires overseeing scheduling, labor management, coaching, training, food safety, and adherence to customer service standards. Supervises 4–16 employees and participates in meetings and trainings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager, with at least 6 months as Sales Associate.
• Associated degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid Food Handler’s permit or ServSafe Certification where required by law or company policy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Pump & Pantry location and supervise 4–16 employees.
• Assist with hiring, discipline, and termination in partnership with District Manager and HR.
• Ensure customer service standards, food safety procedures, and store policies are followed.
• Manage cash handling, inventory, scheduling, and labor budgets.
• Attend meetings and complete required training to represent the company’s engagement model.
