Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker who can lead in the absence of store leadership. You will stock, cashier, and help maintain plan-o-gram accuracy while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking shelves, processing payments, and keeping the store clean and organized. Experience with cash handling and merchandising is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Six months supervisory experience or related training preferred.
• Experience with cash handling and register procedures is expected.
• Ability to read plan-o-grams and implement merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise; build displays.
• Operate cash register, take payments, and bag goods.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; open/close store as directed.
• Greet customers and assist with locating merchandise.
• Follow SOPs and protect company assets; support cashier accountability.
