Dollar General Corporation is seeking a capable Cashier/Stocker with lead responsibilities in the absence of store management. You will manage plan-o-grams, assist customers, and ensure efficient store operations to maximize profits and satisfaction.

Formación

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures.
• Experience with IBM cash register functions.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Unload trucks per store process.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise.
• Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance.
• Greet customers and help locate merchandise.
• Operate cash register and total customer purchases.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safe environment.
• Open and/or close the store as directed by Area Manager.
• Authorize refunds and cash handling in absence of managers.
