Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to support store operations and leadership in the absence of store management. You will handle register activities, assist with merchandising, and provide exceptional customer service while protecting assets.

The role emphasizes teamwork, efficiency in stocking and checkout tasks, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe store environment to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Competenze

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Knowledge of cashier accountability and deposit control.
• Ability to operate IBM cash registers and scanners.
• Familiarity with cash handling, safety, and loss prevention policies.

• Unload trucks following store procedures.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock, rotate, and face merchandise; build displays.
• Restock returned merchandise and manage inventory flow.
• Assist with plan‑o‑grams and merchandising layouts.

• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; manage trash and front-end area.
