Job summary

TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center is seeking a Certified Lead Sterile Processing Technician to ensure instruments and supplies are safe, sterile, and ready for patient care. You will lead the Sterile Processing team, maintain sterilization records, and collaborate with the surgical team to support timely operations.

The role requires a Central Sterile Tech Certification, current BLS, and a minimum of 3 years clinical experience, plus strong interpersonal skills to guide colleagues and ensure

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and trays to ensure every tool works properly and is ready for patient care.
• Operating and maintaining sterilization equipment, while keeping detailed records of sterilization cycles, safety checks, and quality standards.
• Preparing surgical sets and case carts by reviewing daily schedules and gathering the right instruments and supplies for each procedure.
• Managing inventory, organizing supplies in OR storage areas, and working closely with the surgical team to help keep surgeries run smoothly and on time.
• Leading and training the Sterile Processing team, sharing updates on new equipment and processes, and setting a positive example to support a safe, high-quality environment where teamwork thrives.
