Qualifications

• CBSPD or CRCST certification required upon hire.
• Two years of healthcare sterile processing experience required.
• Preferred: two years’ experience as a lead or in staff education.
• Proficiency in Outlook required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running the department when the supervisor is unavailable.
• Inform management of items and supplies needed to order; assist in locating instrumentation and adjust workflow to meet OR demand.
• Oversee daily departmental needs.
• Provide hospital and affiliated facilities with sterile processed materials and equipment.
• Execute established decontamination, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and surgical case cart setup procedures with quality control.
