Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a Lead Sterile Processing Tech to support the Sterile Processing Department. You will oversee day-to-day department needs, assist in maintaining instrument availability, and ensure quality materials for patient care.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CBSPD or CRCST certification upon hire, and at least two years in sterile processing, with preferred lead or educational experience and Outlook proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CBSPD or CRCST certification upon hire.
• Two years of healthcare sterile processing experience.
• Preferred: lead experience or staff education.
• Outlook proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in running the department when the supervisor is unavailable.
• Identify items and supplies needed to order and help locate instruments to keep OR demand in check.
• Oversee daily departmental needs and workflows.
• Provide sterile materials and equipment to hospital and affiliated facilities.
• Follow procedures for decontamination, sterilization, and case cart setup.
• Ensure items are decontaminated and properly labeled for distribution.
