Job summary

HCA HealthONE Rose is seeking a Certified Lead Sterile Processing Technician to accurately perform decontamination, preparation and packaging, storage, and sterilization of instruments and supplies. The role requires careful recording, inventory control, and adherence to department procedures.

Qualified candidates will have Central Service Technician certification and two years of instrument room or OR experience, with supervision from the Central Sterile Manager.

Qualifications

• Current Central Service Technician certification with IAHCSMM or CBSPD or Surgical Technician certification with the State of Colorado is required.
• Central Service Technician certification completion within one year for Surgical Technician is required.
• Education: High school or GED is required.
• Two years’ experience as an Instrument Room or Operating Room Technician is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, preparation and packaging, storage, inventory control, and sterilization of instruments, trays, equipment, and supplies.
• FIll requests for supplies and equipment and perform related recording and computer entry.
• Maintain department policies and procedures and reflect professional conduct when interacting with staff and employees.
