Job summary

HCA HealthONE Centennial is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician II to ensure instruments and supplies are cleaned, inspected and ready for use with precision, safeguarding patient safety in the OR. Responsibilities include sterilizing instruments, managing inventory, and collaborating with surgical teams to meet daily schedules.

Requires CRCST or CSPDT certification and a high school diploma; travel not required; at least 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate / GED
• CRCST Certified Registered Central Service Technician or CSPDT Cert Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, inspecting, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and trays to ensure sterility
• Managing sterilization equipment and keeping accurate records to support patient safety
• Preparing customized surgical sets and case carts based on daily schedules and specific procedure needs
• Managing inventory and supplies in OR storage and specialty lockers with the surgical team
• Responding quickly to instrument requests during surgeries
