Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Lead Statistician to serve as the primary statistical expert within a collaborative team. The role focuses on providing statistical analysis and methodology support for government-originated data studies, developing tactical study plans, and delivering written summaries of results.

The Lead Statistician will engage with customers, define study designs, and determine appropriate analyses to meet study needs.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a poly.
Master's degree/PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM field and 10 years of experience as a Statistician.
Experience interpreting research requests, developing analysis plans, performing high-level statistical analysis, statistical sampling, and computing required samples sizes.
Experience with statistical programming software (SAS, R, Matlab, Python, etc.).
Experience communicating in written documents and providing oral briefings.
Experience leading design efforts and developing new applications and methodologies for data.

Responsibilities

Develop tactical study plans to answer business questions and perform quantitative research.
Select and implement statistical analyses appropriate for the problems; conduct analyses to derive conclusions.
Engage with customers and team members on design and methodological issues; evaluate data collection strategies.
Define statistical design and methodology to meet study needs.
