Job summary

Freedom Technology Solutions Group, LLC is seeking a Lead Statistician to serve as the primary statistical expert within a collaborative team. You will develop study plans, perform quantitative research, and provide written summaries of results for government-originated data analyses.

You will select appropriate statistical analyses, conduct the analyses, and discuss design and methodological issues with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a Poly.
• Master's degree/PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM field and 10 years of experience as a Statistician.
• Experience interpreting research requests, developing analysis plans, performing high-level statistical analysis, statistical sampling, and computing required samples sizes.
• Experience in Exploratory Data Analysis, Sample Size Determination, Linear and Logistic Regression, Response Modeling, Probability Calculations, Experimental Design, Categorical Data Analysis, Statistical Process Control and Process Certification, Multivariate Data Analysis.
• Experience working on projects of complex scope where independent judgment is used within a broad range of defined procedures and practices.
• Experience communicating in written documents and providing oral briefings.
• Experience developing new applications and methodologies for existing or newly acquired data, and leading design efforts in selecting statistical methodology.
• Experience with statistical programming software, (e.g. SAS, R, Matlab, Python, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Develop tactical study plans to answer business questions and perform quantitative research.
• Provide written summaries of study results and select/implement statistical analyses.
• Conduct statistical analyses to derive conclusions and define study designs and methodologies.
• Engage with customers and team members on design and methodological issues and data collection decisions.
• Lead design efforts in selecting statistical methodology for new or existing data studies.
• Communicate findings clearly through reports and briefings.
