Job summary

The Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is seeking a Stationary Steam Engineer for the Southeast Correctional Institution in Lancaster, OH. Responsibilities

• Lead worker oversight of powerhouse staff and inmates in installation, repair, maintenance and operation of powerhouse equipment.
• Make rounds reading gauges, adjust equipment, and observe operation of equipment.
• Start, stop and switch over-generating equipment as needed.
• Keeps logs, gauge readings, fuel consumption and power generated.
• Maintain security of inmates and related records.
