Licking Memorial Health Systems is seeking a Stationary Engineer to operate and maintain boilers, turbines, pumps and associated equipment across the hospital campus in Newark, OH. This role supports essential plant operations and patient care by ensuring reliable heat, cooling and water services.

The position requires a high school diploma and a State of Ohio Stationary Engineer license, plus 2–3 years in boiler room operations.

Qualificações

• High school diploma required, plus basic preparation outside of school.
• Licensed Stationary Engineer in Ohio required.
• Two–three years of boiler room operations experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Make hourly inspections of boiler and related equipment.
• Maintain boiler water level and control valves; monitor gauges and meters.
• Record readings, test water chemistry, and manage logbook entries.
• Operate and adjust boilers to meet load requirements; activate additional boilers as needed.
• Train and supervise Plant Operations Assistant and ensure safe work practices.
• Perform routine maintenance on heating, cooling and ventilation equipment in patient areas.
