State of Indiana seeks a Senior Mathematics Specialist to lead statewide standards, instruction, and assessment efforts. You will administer policy, review Indiana's Academic Standards for mathematics, and support online resources for math education.

You will collaborate with content specialists, align initiatives, and contribute to state assessments and STEM programs, driving improved student outcomes across Indiana.

Qualifications

• Specialized knowledge in educational systems through experience or education.
• Extensive knowledge of educational programs and services and their role in institutions.
• Ability to develop and implement new principles and policies and discern far-reaching implications.
• Ability to present to internal and external customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor education program objectives and actions to achieve agency goals.
• Direct or implement policies and activities within educational institutions to increase effectiveness.
• Interpret and explain policies, rules, and regulations to educational institutions and constituents.
• Coordinate analysis and reporting to support program budgets and grants.
• Train educators or agency consultants on program requirements and usage.
