Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree.
• Teaching license.
• 3 years of proven experience improving academic outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics and effective instructional practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Experience providing math intervention or working with students below grade level.
• Experience using assessment data to plan instruction and measure student growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on students' math needs.
• Identify skill gaps using assessments, classroom data, and teacher input.
• Develop and implement targeted intervention plans with clear learning goals.
• Use effective teaching strategies to strengthen mathematical understanding, problem-solving, and fluency.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to support mastery.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to connect intervention with grade-level learning.
• Maintain records of student progress and communicate growth and ongoing needs to teachers and families.
• Create a supportive learning environment that encourages persistence and confidence in mathematics.
