The University of Florida on its main campus in Gainesville seeks a Student Financial Aid Manager of State Programs to oversee Florida Bright Futures and other state aid, supervise staff, manage funding and compliance, and ensure students receive the financial resources needed to achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities include administering state aid programs, managing institutional scholarships and fellowships, and leading a team to deliver high-quality service while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with student financial aid operations and programs is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Florida Bright Futures and other State of Florida aid programs.
• Determine eligibility, awarding criteria, and program procedures.
• Manage fund reconciliation and compliance activities.
• Test and maintain automated awarding processes.
• Oversee awarding and renewal of institutional scholarships and fellowships.
• Lead a team of financial aid coordinators and monitor workflow to ensure quality service.
